    ARC is a voluntary collaboration of organizations committed to health research and innovation. Initially, membership includes partner organizations funded under the SIOC-CDT Health and Wellness programme, in partnership with the South African government. Membership is open to any relevant organization (government agencies, academic institutions, NGOs, foundations, etc.) that endorses the ARC Charter. Members join by signing the Charter or formally notifying the Secretariat of their intent to participate.
